Default My New Numbers..

So Ive got a 2000 WS6, A4. Stock with a LM1 catback it made 323 RWHP/ 348 Ft/lbs on a dyno.

After the following mods:

-Kooks LT
-ORY
-3200 PI Vigilante
-228/232 .58/.59 112 Comp Cam

,it made 367 RWHP/ 386 Ft/Lbs.

Just from some people's posts on here, it seems a little strange to me. Idk though. I wonder why the torque is so much higher than the Hp, even at stock? these numbers were on 2 different dyno's (first dyno when it was stock is different that second dyno after mods) Opinions?

well compared to some post on here that I've seen, the HP is low but the Torque is about right. But idk, most of the posts Ive seen are M6 cars, and I've heard the converter can "rob" 20 RWHP on a dyno? idk, im confused.

There is a guy on here with very similar cam and stalled running about same torque but about 385-395 hp - but what the hell right bet she moves good for ya! I am going with same set up you should get some vids at the track. Curious to see what you run since I will be doing mine. Did you build your tranny up or just do a stall?

my truck as been bone stock for 6 yrs. i just decided to give it some mods, so this past feb i got it dyno'd to see what i will gain.

at the time of the dyno, i had shorty headers, cai, & superchip - 214hp/270tq

lets just say i didn't feel very manly after seeing those numbers. anyway, 1 1/2 months ago i got my auburn posi w/4.10's in, took out the superchip & got custom tune. my truck felt pretty sluggish, i couldn't really even power brake it. 2 weeks later i got my long tubes and x pipe in and took OUT the CATS. i swear it freed up atleast 60+ hp. i can bark the tires in second now (in the right conditions thought, road material etc.)

check out your cats if you still have them, you never know.

It feels good but I just feel like the RWHP numbers should be a lil closer to 380ish. The tranny is stock, just a stall and trans cooler. I have no cats.

From what I read I wouldn't worry all that much about the power numbers. Get her to the track and see how it performs

That doesn't seem too off. My cammed stalled auto ls camaro only put down 339rwhp but ran a 11.6 @116mph. Don't worry about numbers. A dyno is used as a tuning tool and nothing else

Yeh I know numbers aren't everything but it sure is nice when they look good! Hopefully the track will tell all.

I live in Jonesboro, from Wynne originally and hang out there a lot.

Stock LS1 intake and an unlocked converter, think it's closer to a 3500.

Lol you don't enter a gear ratio in a dynojet

Your numbers appear to be about right. Don't get caught up in them. Autos just don't put down the high numbers.

Take it to the track and see what it do.

Number sound right on . My buddys 02 ss a4 low mileage has hooker longtubes lsp lid and lunati cam 231 236 with stock stall and made 371 and 389 tq. Now its time for the small details, ls6 intake, p/p tb, smooth bellows, larger mass, underdrive pulley,

Yes, the HP seems a bit low, but definitely in the ballpark. The torque, however, seems really fantastic. Enjoy...
