what are you using to install carrier pinion bearings

Default what are you using to install carrier pinion bearings

i am about to do my own gears and i am getting a bearing puller, and race driver set.. but whats everybody using to install the bearings on the carrier and pinion?? i searched and read about using a pipe. what kind of pipe and where would i get that??

heat the bearings in the oven at 200 degrees for a few minutes. thick walled pipe the same or close to the same size as the inner steal ring of the bearing... not the cage!

Press and a length of pipe thats the right size.

a steel pipe??? a pipe made of what? i dont want to mess the bearings up? whats the best way to remove them

press, and what every fit to do it. pipe, other bearing race....
