Default Need serious help!

My friend and I installed a TCI 3500 and Pace Setter OR headers in his 98 T/A
Now the car is misfiring like a **** at WOT! Im thinking it could be that one of the plugs got damaged from moving the header around while clearancing the dr side K-member. We got a code reader and I think it read P0405 I think it was for the EGR which we removed (OR headers). But no misfire codes also we didn't notice the SES flashing we weren't really looking at it.
I not an auto guy so pardon the stupid questions:
What could cause the misfire?
What could cause the car dying out when coming to a stop (not always though)?
Im thinking the PCM will need to get tweeked.
Thanks guys!

I would just double check you plugs and wires. If you are not getting a miss fire code what leads you to believe it is miss firing?

When i put my pacesetters on and unhooked the EGR my car ran like total crap..... died, wouldnt start... idled crazy. After a couple of days the computer seemed to adjust itself and it fixed the problem on its own. No problem at all now. i dont know if this would be your problem but it did happen to me.
