Default Hankook Rebate

Just a heads up, there is a Discount Tire Direct promotion for a $60 mail in rebate on Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 through the end of June.

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...ns.do?pgid=449

My 4 tires (245 45 18) with TPMS service kits came to $660 shipped, so after the rebate, that'll be right at $600. After mount and balance, I should be well under $700. Not bad!

I was actually just invited to one of Hankooks promotions next week. I get to drive a couple of their mustangs with hankooks on them to promote their product at my father in laws shop. Actually pretty excited.

I've been thinking of putting Hankooks on the Caddy.

A set of RS-2's got me second in class for my local autocrosses. Can't go wrong with that!

Nice! I guess they are setting up a cone course or something? Does sound like a good time.

Haha, thats the way it always goes. I was looking for a cheap spare a few weeks ago, getting ready to lose the runflats. They were all over the classifieds until I started trying to buy one. I gave up and paid like $250 for one off eBay (does have a new tire though). As soon as I bought it... good deals everywhere. Sigh.

Read some of the reviews, they are apparently great tires, especially for the price.

They make a great autocross tire, and you can't beat a 225 for $104. I need to buy some RS-3's for my Miata sometime soon, but not until after I spend some dedicated time under the hood.
