He said heads/cam and nitrous Big Mike. Your forged internal high compression beast is a little beyond the scope in his question.

Planning on low 10's for my new combo.

TR224, GTP S2's, SY3500, 3.73's, QTP LT's, Nitto DR's, race weight of almost 3800 pounds, and TNT 150. Best of 10.81 @ 128.99 with a 1.68 60' grabbing the button about 100' out (11.88 @ 115 NA).

Fast,

yes it is forged internal, but factory displacement and heads/cam/nitrous. I think that fits the criteria. Had he said head/cam/nitrous on stock internals, then I would be exempt.

Probably about a 13.9 at 130, lol! I can't hook to save my life and don't want to blow my little 10-bolt with slicks just yet...

I ran 10.3@132.30.....w/ a 1.49 60'ft
my car is a 2001 Z06..... mods are:
STOCK BOTTOM-END
CARTEK stage 2x H/C
TPIS headers
TNT 100 shot
CARTEK clutch
stock rear-end untouched with stock 3.42's
FACTORY WEIGHT
Rebuilt M6 tranny
CCW DRAG PACK wheels&tires.

Now im in the process of upgrading to a forged bottom-end 346ci, 250hp direct port, and cartek stage 3x pkg.

Looking for some mid to high 9's with the m6 trans, when it's all said and done.

I plan to add a TnT F1 kit to my SS after I swap the fuel pump, spark plugs, and clutch disk. I think it'll get into the 10s easily on a good track and temps.

Hey Andy!! How are you??? Married life is good, I have no complaints, yet! LOL

I'm hoping to get that 8 second pass sometime this Spring. I took out over 250 lbs from the car and upped the shot some even more. We'll see how she goes...

How is your setup coming along?

SLOW!!! I'm glad I started it last Oct. The weather got nice here last weekend and ALOT of cars were out. Mine's getting close, so I'm sure it will snow again. Are you going to come out for the North vs. South shoot out in Ind.? Let me know, we'll hook up.

TAlover33, I have an idea, check out the Nitrous List! Damn it guys, it took days to start that list and everyday I can, I check and update. I intentionally included codes for SI or HC engines just for that reason.

But anyway, even so, I would ask the same question. If you cant hit 10 with HC you need to be shot. For real. I swear by the engine builders book My car has to have some of the shittiest flowing stock heads and I run 11.01 ughhh at 122. That was even with a little girlie TR224 cam. Lets see gears, more efficient stall, better heads split cam any one of those and I would have made it. BTW, I was cutting 1.51s with the fronts lifting already so traction wasnt as much a factor.

Good luck, and check the list brah!
