Sparkplugs
So there is a deal running right now for MSD 8.5MM wires and a set of NGK plugs for $68.00 shipped, either the TR55 or the TR6. Does anyone recommend one over the other? I'm currently stock (08' GXP) minus an open cone and Overkill tuned.
I've heard from a few people that TR6IX are great once tuned and I was about to pull the trigger and get some but I'm saving some coin here getting this wire/plug combo. Should I still opt for the IX line over the TR55 or TR6?

No problem - I'm probably going with the TR55s for my setup. Although I've ran into the issue of gap and altitude so I'm still stumped as to what is best. Probably just going to guess and check.

It was advertised on the sponsor page on LS1tech, go to RPMmotorsports.com, click on Online Store and scroll to the bottom, the plugs are free with the MSD wires includes shipping. So total is 68 flat, not a bad deal.

would be better off with the NGK wires specific for our car... MSD's tend to cause misfires and knock retard...
can only get the correct NGK wires from gmls4.com - members-only deal... so sign up if you haven't already!
and can only get them from there, because they come direct from NGK canada... the US wires are too long and not correct for our cars...
