Default abs delete questions

im doing a turbo build right now and we are going to delete the abs tommoro for to make room for piping.

there is a mess of wires connected to the module. is it gonna throw a code once i delete it? and if so is it just a fuse i can pull to get rid of the no trac or abs light? or can it be tuned out.

thanks

The ABS system is separate from the PCM and has its own set of codes. By FAR the easiest thing to do is to unplug the wiring, tuck it/cut it/etc. and just pull the bulb(s) in the dashboard.

I exposed the wiring about halfway back to the firewall and clipped it. Re-taped the plastic sheath.

Once I learned a completely stripped down wire harness is only worth about a 20 lbs. loss I quickly lost my motivation to get every last inch of unneeded wire out of the car.
