Default Slp Underdrive Pulley?

hey, guys

Quick question? I just bought the SLP underdrive pulley for my 2000 z28 camaro and didn't realize it came with no serpentine belt. Does anyone know if i need a different size or do the different size pulleys even it out, so you can use the original belt.

You need two smaller belts.....don't use the originals. I bought mine from the WS6 store.

Texas speed sells belts for underdrive pulleys, and to answer your other question, I personally would try to find the matching pulleys for the alternator, water pump etc, because you don't want to spin them to slow or too fast. I would look to see if slp sells the other pulleys.

You shouldn't have a problem running only the UD pulley unless you have a big stereo system. I run only the SLP UD pulley without any problems. If you do have a system I think you overdrive the ALT pulley.

You need a different size belt do a google search for what you need and pick it up at a local store for alot cheaper then online. Its a belt from a Volvo I think.

Gates K60763 for the larger serpentine.

Thanks guys. I went nuts last night looking for it. The kit came with the alternator and water pump pulley. No stereo systemin my car so no worries with voltage but i think i'm going with the Gates k040378 4-rib and the k060763 6-rib. Agreed?
