Default Manual Steering Rack for STREET ? What brand ?

Hey

It is long time I didn't read or post in this section

My 01 SS is steer car, no drag racing at all .. Only race from a roll
I'm thinking about manual steering rack setup from one of our great sponsors that will not be very hard to turn from a dead stop With stock size wheel/tire

I know that it will not be soft as stock power steering but also don't expect having it hard same as if I just remove the belt from the stock unit

What do think guys and any advice from the sponsors ???

I got one with 275's up front. Its not that bad. It sucked at first but after a week I liked it. If your trying to race around corners and stuff then this is not the mod for you as the gear ratio is different. But if your like me and you just cruise around and mash it on straight aways...then youll like it. I think the car revs up faster now and I really like seeing both cylinder heads when I open the hood. The biggest advantage...NO MORE POWER STEERING FLUID!!!! **** always got all over the underbody of my car.

I deleted the PS and rerouted the (shorter) belt. my arms only hurt for a week or so... lmao

love it now though, especially the instant weightless feeling when the rear end kicks out, adds an infinite amount of control during corrections that you cant feel with PS

but im crazy so take that bit with a grain of salt
