Default Lunati cam 227/238 583 600 112

Hi about to order this cam for a LS3 , daily driver, Anyone used or heard this cam?
Im hoping it sounds tough. Its a voodoo lobe grind from there catoloque, seems agood compromise between mild and big
Thanks

It should be alright. I believe these were some of the last cams done by none other than Ultra Dyne's Harold himself. One of thee top cam guys of all time in the US.

Darin Morgan suggested a 231/243 @.050 on a 113 with LSL lobes from comp for a 6.0L with LS3 heads for my 06 GTO.

I think that cam would work well in an LS3, I'd try advancing it a couple or 4 degrees

Look at the cam cards ICL, that will tell you if it has been ground with an advance.

Just because it's not "popular" doesn't mean it's not a well designed product. People on the boards typically buy what everyone else has here.... Which is sponsor pushed parts. I wouldn't hesitate to try that cam, but money doesn't grow on trees so I'll wait for your results lol.

Its a cam that relatively unknown, its a voodoo lobe designed cam by Harold Berkinshire, for the LS3 Heads, aparently by all accounts Harold was the cam guru. Im seeing that alot of, off the shelf more marketed LS3 cams are way over 600 lift, and on like race like lobes. The texas speed cam 231/236 644 612 112 was my other choice but, for a daily driver it may be a tad big and i did read its on LSL Lobes , and that may be alot harsher on the valvetrain than i really can handle in the future, CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG SOMEONE, i have not 100 percent decided which camshaft but its gotta be soon, as im dying to get a cam in the car
This Lunati is under 600 LIFT so should be less harsh on the valvetrain. Im just uncertain how the Lunati willsound
