Default Converting to LS1

Finally converting to LS1 PCM that is.... with the EFI24X LS1 pcm/coil per plug conversion. Waiting on some more parts to finish the conversion and will update with new pics as time progresses.
Here's a few pics (not in order):

[QUOTE=riceburnerZ28;15156694]How much has the conversion costs you so far?[/QUOTE

The 24X crank and cam signal equipment cost me 525 from EFI. I also bought a 96-97 timing cover from a member here. New Cloyes 3157 timing set from Summit. And of course associated gaskets(timing cover,wp, oilpan).
I will be ordering their coils/brackets if I can't find any. Right now they're 12 wks. back w/ their plug n' play wiring harness. As far as the LS1 pcm, I know where I can get a hook up on one. I will be posting more pics as I gather and install parts needed. Thanks for looking.

Looks good Bolo. Steve at pro-jection can convert your existing harness if you want a faster turnaround and grn96ta on here makes some cool brackets. You can get the truck coils off ebay for 100 bucks.

Wow, that would be a nice prize. The whole kit adds up to 2k easily.
I've been debating on this conversion for sometime now, and so here it is. It's just another way of getting a head start for the next engine upgrade. Gotta keep up with all you big dogs.

Butch, with some of the recent mods you've done I don't think any of the dogs are going to give you much trouble.

I believe someone is giving away a custom harness to work with the 24X LS pcm conversion. I thought it was the whole conversion kit myself:

That's a little odd because the 1993 LT1/4L60 harness is different than the 1993 LT1/T56 harness, which are both different than the 1994 LT1/4L60E harness, which are all different than the 1994 LT1/T56 harness, which are all different than the 1995 LT1/4L60E harness, which are all different than the 1995 LT1/T56 harness, which are all different than the 1996-1997 LT1/4L60E harness, which are all different than the 1996-1997 LT1/T56 harness...and I've experienced more than a few who have required 4L80E control in their harness.

Any details about which harness is being given away?

I don't have any info, but it could very well be a "made to order harness" for the winner.
