Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System First Use Via PC
Last weekend I got a chance to use Meguiars new Microfiber Correction system on my friends red Camaro and it came out great! The compound removed all swirls and cut down a good bit of the deeper random imperfections but left slight hazing. The finishing wax got rid of all the hazing and left a great finish.

Ya its a great product.. Easy to use and really hard to do any damage.. and it actually works...Mine is black so it shows everything. After first use, looks like a got a new paint job.. Money well spent.

Yeah man it is, but it has a stock motor, trans, and rear in because he was selling it(sold now). he has black nhra firebird he is "mesing" with...
. Yeah the finish is amazing for hhow easy it is to use.I was using the meguiars twins (m105/m205) with foam pads with my DA and I wasn't getting the greatest results with it, but I think at the time I was doing a few small things wrong with it. either way get the microfiber system, it works great. Get a magic marker and draw a thick line on your backing plate to make sure that your pad stays spinning at all times.

From my understanding, ultimate compound has more cut,, but this system is just easier to use, and less steps to get to the results you want. And very forgiving.. but if you need more cut,,, just apply more pressure.. read up on meguirars forum.. good info from users on there.

Thanks!
Ultimate Compound is a diminishing abrasive compared to this system and their M105/M205 that is super-micro abrasive which doesn't diminish(break down) and it falls in between M105 and M205 in aggressiveness, which is pretty aggressive. UC can be used as a one step process while with M105 or D300 (Microfiber compound) you would want to use M205 and D301 to finish. If you want more cut out of their NON-diminishing abrasive products you just spray water like 2 times on the pad while the compound is still on the car because it reactivates the Abrasives.

I know this is an old post but I just used the Meguiars DA microfiber system on my red '02 Z28 and it turned out awesome. I had slight swirls and this took care of them nicely. I'm fairly new to detailing and paint correction but this system is great for noobs. I use it with a Griot's 6" random orbital.
