Default Whistler Done, Now clear or black corners? MMM Camaro

Here is how it sits...who thinks I should take some VHT to the corners, and who thinks I should leave it as it?

I like the ones you have. IMO black housings look better than blacked out lenses. I have some custom LED signals w/ black housings. I'll try and post some pics after work.

The corners aren't black at all...must be a shadow. they are totally clear housings.

Also what is a good way to clean these headlights up some? I took Meg's Scratch-x to them with my random orbital and that helped some, then i went to Meg's Plast-X(what you get in the headlight resto kit) and did the same...it helped a little again but they are still not clear. I think I have actually buffed them a little too much and now it's starting to get more blurred...help

Get some "smoked" corners on Ebay, they fit the whistler theme best IMO.

I'd go with black but no VHT. I'm one that likes stuff to flow and having depth with the headlights then taking it away from something so close to them like the corner lights with the VHT kills it for me. I would get a good black set, run some filler along the edges to help keep out the water/condensation, throw them in there and be done with it.

+1 for smoked. Clears look ricey to me and straight black takes away from detail IMO.

New lenses are the only way to go with the whistler mod IMO... anything else isn't clean enough IMO

LS1camaroguy did you ever end up finding a place that sells just the lenses? I read you're old thread about trying to get that started.

anybody want to post up or PM what they are searching on ebay to find the smoked lenses? I've searched just about every conceivable combination to find them and can't get them to pop up.

Man, I looked and can't find anything either other than the ones with the clear lens but black backing/reflector section.
