You DO realize that your pretty much right at the factory ratings right? On a 18 year old car. My T/A is 17/24. My 3800 is 19/29. 15/24 on an LT1 is nothing to cry over.

ummm im in Arkansas and weve been at 95-100 degrees the past couple weeks, and lately the cars been giving 12-13.5 mpg in town, do you guys think the iat needs replacing? its got the stock intake system on

i changed the iat and it still gives between 13-15 mpg city. are the fuel trims adjusted by the ecm? and is there a way to get the car at PID 14 instead of 15?

PID is just the info in the scan tool. Some are data sensor PIDS, others are caculated displayed PIDS like the A/F ratio.
I wouldn't concentrate on that @ all.
Have seen lesser scan tools be a little off with that before.
The Tech-I ( & II) would display that @ 14.7 <which is right display.
I bet yours is rounding it off to 15.
Seen cars running pig rich & it still says 14.7......
