no injector pulse please help
would your opti system not let your injectors pulse back and forth when your testing them

On my 95 a bad ICM will cause the PCM to stop the injectors. Throwing an Opti at it is not the way to troubleshoot.
I should start a thread on how to troubleshoot an Opti. All one needs is a decent voltmeter and a logic probe. Easy test.

just ran some test on the opti spark connector c140 pin c (red wire) is getting power with the ignition on thats good.tested pin a red and black wire for 5v it was there.then tested pin d pink and black wire for a ground.so that has to mean the opti is bad rite?

Here is a diagram of the connector. Notice two wires should have pulses, PPL WHT and RED BLK.
You need something like this:

It will in a second tell you if the pulses are there are not. A better tool would be a lab scope, but if the pulses are there they most likely are correct. Did you check for trouble codes in the PCM?

No sir i did not check the trouble codes and i was going to do that later to day when i test for a ground on the opti sark harness something starts to hum like the fuel or some thing wat i kno for a fact its some with those injectors idk next tho i will test the pcm wire to c if they are doing any thing dont want to change that damn opti i have one off an old motor but just dnt think it worth a damnn
