Epoxy sealant around EGR and AIR block off plates?
I have a small exhaust leak coming from the driver side EGR that I have plugged off. I am wondering if I can put some epoxy sealant around it where its leaking and if that will hold? I used it on my TB blade to fill in the hole where the screw goes in the middle. Stuff is pretty hard so I figure it would work. I dont see why not to try it out.

Its leaking from the plate because I didnt have the gasket. I figured I would give it a shot seeing as I had the epoxy. It didnt work lol. Ill just go get the gaskets and reinstall, no big deal.

Get some soft copper or thick exhaust gasket (asbestos) material at any auto parts and make your own. Make sure your blockoff plates are true (flat). Epoxy would be my last choice.
