I am cheap as hell but I wouldn't trust my motor to a shitty resistor attempting magic!

i have been reading about this and seems like a really good simple cheap way to make your own timming retard box. The best set up ive seen is making a 'TIMMING TRICKER" giving you many more timeing options. Im just curious where everyone is getting the small box they call 'timming tricker'?
