Exclamation Oil pressure question

I was wondering if an ls1 needs to have the stock oil pressure sensor from the harness in order to start or will an aftermarket one work. Thanks.

Default Pressure

You can add an after market gauge, but don't remove the ecm sensors.

Yeah I would try and stick with the stock sensors because the computer will have an easier time reading that sensor.

Don't try that with a drive by wire

unless my setup's different, the ls1 and lm7 i had did not have a pcm-related oil pressure sensor; it was strictly for the gauges only. drive by wire may be different though....
