Default Switching from D/D to Corsa!

Well I found a brand new Corsa muffler off the $700 catback for a nice price so I picked it up and will be replacing my SLP Dual Dual muffler with the Corsa. I liked the DD but it was a little quiet and just seemed to start resonating inside the car after adding long tubes and ORY. What kind of sound can I expect from the Corsa muffler over the DD?

Corsa is a little louder and nearly no resonation until you get on it. Has a really nice tone to it. I love mine! And I am sure you can find a Corsa catback for cheaper than that.

That's about what I was expecting. Onyx I found a brand new muffler not the whole catback. No way in hell would I spend over $400 for any catback.

it is a 3" in and out muffler, so it will not bolt in place to your DD setup.

Personally, i don't like the sound of my corsa, but the looks make it worth it.

Ryan <-- paid $200 for the corsa, and $150 for the tips.

No, I found the whole catback for $450, you CAN find it cheaper than $700.

Corsa is 3" in and out? I thought it was 3" in, 2.5" X 2 out; same as the DD and most other aftermarket catbacks.

I had two Corsa mufflers, and they both went South after only a couple months of driving. I don't recommend them to anyone. Some people have been more luck though, I guess. I recommend the GMMG, but then again, you'd be looking at the same $700 price tag. Good luck!

I had 2 mufflers replaced before they fixed the internal weld problem. Corsa sent me out brand new replacement mufflers. Great customer service and the last replacement has been great for over two years now. It flows like no other. People have reported only a 1rwhp loss between running a cut out in the y-pipe verses running through the Corsa. Th have found no performance difference between runn an open cutout and running through the Corsa at the track. It does get loud at WOT. No resonance at all.

Thanks for the info Guys! I want a great flowing muffler that doesn't resonate inside the car and is noticeable when I get on it. Sounds like Corsa is what I want. As to the 3" in and out the muffler is coming with the over the axle pipe and two elbows that attach to the muffler so all I will have to do is mate it up to my CME tips.

I have had the Corsa for a while now and I have to do quite a few long-distance drives on the highway. Absolutely no resonating and totally bearable at highway speeds. Sounds sweet when you get on it too...

Maybe it's just me, but mine seems kind of quiet compared to others. My muffler does rattle just a little, would this make it quieter then others. Of course the only time I hear is when I'm inside the car. Are all of yours really queit inside?
I have Hooker LT's, ORY and the Corsa.
