LS1/ LS2 intake power difference
SO I swapped the LS1 intake off my 98 LS1 for an LS2 with the 90mm throttle body. This was a 345hp vette crate engine. Anyone have any idea now what kind of power I can expect? Would the improvement be just in the top end or midrange? Thanks.

Hmm, I wish I knew. You say it was from a 345HP Vette engine? The Vette was 345HP in LS1 form, the LS2 Vette makes 400HP.
From what my experience, the Vette has always had a better intake system and better exhaust system than the F-body cars. If I could take a guess, I'd say you'll see a 10HP gain, but no more than that.
I'm in Meridian right now, but I lived in South Bend Indiana for a long time, Indianapolis is a very nice city.

LS1 to LS6 intake is 15? I don't think that's even close...

Thanks for the replies, was out of town. This engine will never go over 4000 rpm so I guess torque is really what I am after rather than HP gains. Seems like the swap adds 10 to 15 hp then, but at higher rpms.
