Twin turbos on a LS3/LQ9
I got in way over my head when I started my project. With the setup I was going to run, I would have been looking at about 800+hp at the wheels. Thats too much for a mainly street driven car. I have two brand new Garrett GT4082 turbos that I was going to use at about 16 psi. Ive decided to go with a 8-71. The engine is a new LQ9 block with L92 heads. Any thoughts? By my calculations I would be getting a much more street friendly 680ish hp at the wheels at about 12 psi. I had trouble uploading the pics of the turbos I was going to use...Which are for sale if anyone is interested.

There so many other issues besides the horsepower. In the long run its going to save me $$$. Why have $2,800 in turbos for 6 psi? I had to make a really hard choice about what the car is going to be mainly used for and it came out a street driver.
Plus with the blower in going carb so no freaking wireing to mess with, no efi manifold, no freakin annoying sensors, no intercooler plumbing (well maybe), no huge oil cooler and tranny cooler, no crazy exhaust plumbing (i already customed fabed stainless header that took 3 months and are freakin sweet...oh well.)

I was running a P1SC with a LQ4/L92 engine and 1st through 3rd gear were useless. Supercharger was too small and the put you in your seat fell off at about 4800-5000 rpm. Motor was built to sustain 9000rpm. Moral to the story, 800rwhp is waaayyy too much for the street.
