Default Turbo specific oil system?

Has anyone ever done a turbo specific oil system? Im about to begin on my rear mount project and i had a few questions about my planned oiling system.
What weight or type of oil would be best for turbo only? I plan on having the tank mounted in the spare tire well, i figured 5 quarts would be a good amount, and a cooler mounted somewhere underneath with its own fan.
I will need a seperate feed and return pump wont i?
are there any downsides to a setup like this? It just seems the most logical thing to do on a rear mount.
Any input or help is appreciated!
Thanks, Mark

Maybe use aircraft turbine oil? That seems like an almost appropriate oil to use in a turbocharger. That or just a low weight diesel oil.
