Jake's Performance Updates
Now that we have a dyno and have caught up from our 6 week backlog of transmission orders we've had all year, we're going to be expanding our product line.
As some know, we have extensive experience with the 200-4R transmission in mild builds all the way up to low 10 second Grand Nationals and GM A-bodies.
We're reintroducing that unit back into our lineup.
There have been some issues with the aftermarket billet components quality control for the 200-4R. We're addressing that by having them done by our own machine shops.
We will also be offering TH350's and Powerglides in various levels of build. (We never really stopped building them, just didn't advertise them).
We're also moving into the AOD/AOD-E/4R70W platforms for the "off brand" guys.
I've been doing quite a bit of development work on the valve body and hydraulics for these units since there seems to be a lack of fast releasing transbrakes for these.
Although this is a Ford transmission, it has the capability of being installed relatively easily behind a GM engine. It may be a good choice in some applications for low power drag but good power handling capabilities for some of the more strip oriented combos.
Of course we are still building our most popular 4L80E's and I have some interesting parts in the works for these as well for the really big hitters.
I'll be updating the website and giving various levels of build and pricing for all these units in the near future.
