help with procharger setup, adding bov
Car is almost ready again, I keep killing trannys. Anyway I want to revise my procharger setup, how does this sound?
D1SC 3.4 pully spinning at max
I have spintech bracket with chevy chad mod
front mount intercooler. Also adding meth injection.
From the outlet of the intercooler to the throttle body, I have the factory black procharger bpv, then air intake sensor. Car is speed density(2bar). I want to make a new charge pipe with new bungs installed. how does this sound for charge pipe, procharger bpv>meth injection(close to tb)>air temp sensor>bov.
BOV is HKS so I dont think it uses a spring, going to run turbosmart controller
I need some opinions, thanks
I think the bpv is open from idle to 0 vacuum to release extra pressure, Bov works opposite as its closed until a certain amount of boost is reached and then It will open once that happens. basically im trying to make my power adjustable so I can run low boost daily driving and flip the switch to high boost when needed. correct me if im wrong, thanks for looking

BOV are not wastegates. They are designed to stay closed until you see a vaccum in the intake in a turbo car. They release pressure between shifts and rapid throttle closure to prevent excess pressure on the turbo impellers..They have nothing to do with controlling the boost pressure..you need a wastegate..
