Default Hawk Ceramic, tremendous amount of dust after install.

I just did the CTV-S big brake conversion. They look and feel WICKED !! However, after my first 30 miles ( I am assuming a breakin) from the shop to my house, I have a tremendous amount of brake dust. My chrome wheels look gun metal gray.
Is this normal for the initial run? I bought the ceramics for the low dust rating. Hoping this is temporary.

Never used the Hawk variety of ceramics, but with other brands I have had next to no dust -- so if you're getting a lot of dusting, perhaps there's an install issue with your brake kit -- like your caliper slides not smooth and properly lubed?

My Hawk HPS pads did not have any noticeable dust after 30 miles.

Just needed to burnish the pads & rotors. All good now and feels awsome.
