I got a manual rack and finally got around to installing it.

issue #1 the I shaft had to be cut to length and welded the upper U joint is in a bind and is notchy when turning

issue #2 is that the i shaft is hitting the 2 inch primary off cylinder 1 which is prolly putting the bind in the upper u joint

can I message the header primary in to clearance the shaft? with out causing the horrible issuse.

issue #3 there is play in the joint that slides in the column. I seen a few shaft that use the orignal upper part of the i shaft and you weld it to the newer style i shaft to get gid of that, any other options?
