Default Tex700 clutch

My old centerforce disengaged about 2 inches of pressure on the pedal and was stiff, the Tex700 i just installed requires 5 inches of travel or so to disengage, and feels soft, is this normal? Bitch is grippier than the CF by a long shot, but damn it feels weird and sucks i have to push the clutch so far in now.
