m6 to auto conversion

m6 to auto conversion
Trying to figure out how hard it's going to be to adapt an auto to a m6 car.
In addition to the trans, I think I need:
a4 harness/pcm
pedal assembly
shifter
different crossmember?
anything else change?
I'm assuming driveshaft remains same length.
Will this be plug and play or will I have to splice/cut wires at all. I found one thread on the LS side looks like there is some cutting splicing, but thought I'd ask and see how others have put in a 4L60e in a car that was a M6 car.

If you get the A4 harness then you dont need to cut anything, the cross member you might be able to drill the holes out a little and it work, if you dont have anything to drill them out then replacing it will help kill time there. Im pretty sure the driveshafts will interchange

if you happen to pick up my setup you pm'd me about, i can cut the tunnel out of the car and send that to you as well so you can have the factory mounting tabs for the auto shifter and will be able to close up your hole where your shifter used to be.
Trans X-member comes with the pullouts as well. other than a little wiring, the majority of the swap should be just bolt in
