LT1 stay MAF or go SPEED?
I'm Almost 100% done with my lt1 turbo build and had a few questions im torn between. Should i stay with my MAF on the turbo or switch over to Speed density? I understand tuning will be easier but what are the pros and cons? Its a 1995 pcm right now. What will i need to convert over?
I'm also running a Canton pan and want to have the return pump hose dump into plug on the kick out, Is this a good spot to put it or should i keep in on the oil cap like the sts kit?
The last thing i would like to know is can i run a manual boost controller inline with my Electronic boost control as a saftey net in case the electronic control malfunctions? Im thinking i can set the Manual one to max boost and then dial the electronic one where i want it and be good? Can i do this?

k.i.s.s.
If a electronic fails it goes to the spring pressure.
The plug on the canton pan is in the oil level, so it wont work well as an oil return. I have lt'1 s and I never run maf, and now Id say just put a stand alone on. Im running a gen 7.
If you cant go to fast or accel, speed density.

speed density all the way.
get a 2 bar map sensor, and halve the fuel injector size (ie 60s installed, tell the car it has 30's). start there and work with it. my car drove so much nicer with the sd tune. it fired up right away every time and ran smooth as **** down low even with my bigish cam.
