Default Speed Inc S15 cam(231/237) good with stalled A4?

I think I made up my mind on a cam. I want to go with the S15 speed inc cam. I'm also getting my 243's worked over by A.I. Would this be a good combo with the mods in sig? The 243's aren't on the car yet. But I have them in my garage! The car is a weekend toy only. Late nights. lol. Plus some track time. I'm looking for good track numbers.

That would be a great combo...is Speed Inc. doing the final tune when done?
AI stuff seems to be puttin' out some big numbers lately.

that should work well. a friend of mine had that cam with patriot heads in a m6 car. i think it put down about 425-435rwhp. that cam sounds amazing too. you may want to look into getting larger injectors also.

What kind of tires are you running? Your car is gonnna be damn quick with that cam and ur 4k stall. Running good with slicks and that cam you should be looking at 11.5-11.7's in the 1/4. If you have a good d/a

my car wasn't an A4, but i did have the SI5 with PRC stg 2.5 5.3 heads and made just over 450rwhp and right at 400rwtq through a built T56/Moser 9". never made a pass with the heads on a good track, but "cam only" (whatever that means) went 12.003.

I'll be doing all the work! Speed Inc will be doing the tune. And I'm running mt et streets. But they don't hook now. I ran 11.6 with mods in sig. Going to the track Oct 1st for better bolt on times! Heads/cam will be done over winter. I need something to do anyways. lol

Mine's been 121mph in 3200ft DA - I haven't gotten it to hook yet. I'm looking for low 11's@123ish when the good air gets here, if I have the suspension sorted out.

It's pretty much a full weight car - just the front sway and emission stuff and the spare removed.

Kinda wish i went the SI5 cam. I think its a good all around size. Pair that cam with your 243 with work done from TEA and that will be a sick setup.

Both bumper supports, a/c, air pump, cats, egr, spare tire and jack, and a few other small things I forgot about.

SI5 shouldn't require flycutting unless you are running some seriously milled heads and thin gaskets. They'll fit with 59cc chambers on Patriot stage 2 ls6 heads - mine are the 64cc variant. But always its safe to measure.

The cam is ideal - choppy idle, doesn't seem to loose much under the curve and pull hard from 3500rpm up.

Quick Reply: Speed Inc S15 cam(231/237) good with stalled A4?
