My wire rub issue
So I've known about the issue with the wire harness rubbing behind the glove box for quite awhile now but just haven't ever taken the time to check mine. I figured ya know my car only has 34000 miles on it so surely it wouldn't have a problem yet. Well today I had a few minutes and said the hell with it, why not check er out. So after taking out the glovebox and looking at the harness that was definately rubbing on the metal bracket, sure enough it had already cut through the insulation covering the wires and was about to start on he wires themselves. So I fixed it just like the sticky says to do. Hopefully that will take care of it. Is probly even worse since I'm a big cam car with all the extra vibration and all. Glad I took 10 minutes out of my life to check it out.
The moral being, if you own a Gto, spend some time and fix your harness.

Glad you checked it. If I get a GTO like I plan to, I'll be checking multiple things, this being one of them. Thing is, what if a wire or two is cut through all the way? What can you do?
