Are these the correct rod and main bolts?
In the middle of building the ole LT1.
Are these the correct rod and main bolts I need? Suggest another place I should purchase them from? Thanks!

Instead of a bolt it’s a stud, it helps get the proper torque on the main caps and hold them in place. Idk what you are doing with the car but might want to look into it.

That’s kinda the way I went with my motor but I have LE1 and the 236/244 cam. Yes to my knowledge only mains. Also if you line bore the crank you might want to get a oversized crank timing gear, we are having one hell of a time trying to get the slop out of the timing chain.

So I am safe to get the rod bolts? Sorry, I just really don't want to order $100 worth of bolts to have them be wrong lol
I have heard about getting a bigger timing gear. hmmm ill check it out. I am still waiting on my block to get done.
Thanks for your help!

What do you plan on doing with the car? Reusing stock rods and then using main studs doesn't make sense to me. I wouldn't get into using studs until you really start putting some serious power through the motor, which then you might want to look into swapping rods.

It's just going to be a weekend driver / track car.
Block will pretty much be a stock rebuild. Already dropped the cam off. He is super busy right now. I told him in the meantime I would pick up new bolts for the rods and mains.
Would the bolts I posted in first post be sufficient? Will they be better than the stockers?

How many miles, how much rpm, how much power? The increased clamping pressure would be warranted with more power/ rpm, but if you're going to be spinning it that high and pushing ever more power, why not upgrade the rods as they are the most stressed part of the motor?

I don't doubt it, they are powdered metal rods, plenty of people have gone plenty fast on a stock bottom end. I just think with what you have planned, ARP main bolts would be plenty strong.
