Default Can anyone confirm that the Mast Oilpan fixes the oil starvation issues on fbodies?

Just wondering if anyone out there has switched to the Mast Motorsports pan and resolved their oil starvation issues under hard acceleration / launch that are common to the stock pan? Getting ready to drop my motor again and suspect that I'll find some bearing damage again which I think is directly related to this issue. Now is the time for me to make the switch. I really don't want to switch to the Moroso pan as I don't want to get into relocating the oil filter. I do know that the Moroso pan works.

LS2Formula has the Moroso pan and I tune his car, so like I said, I know it works but also know what a pain in the *** it is to install with the remote mount filter crap. I don't want that if it can be avoided.

Nobody running the Mast Motorsport pan? Seriously? It's been out for a while now and IIRC, it's like $450-500, cast and takes the stock filter.

Peanut gallery says....!!!

Also I bet if you asked in the conversion section you'd at least get some response as I am sure there is someone over there running one, albeit at a much less power level than you are.

If it were me, I would opt for the Moroso. You know it works. Enough said.

I have been running one of the improved racing oil pan baffles for the last two seasons in the stock pan. But this season since making 800rwhp have not been to the track. Also although I cut 1.4-1.5s the car is deff not wheels up.

Would making it have more room around all the edges help with oil draining back down. What about more drain holes/slots on the baffel

The problem isn't that the oil isn't draining down. The problem is that the inertia/g-force of the launch pulls the oil up the back of the pan and away from the pickup.

Anyway, Michael from Improved emailed me today that they are in stock and ready to go so I am ordering one tonight and will provide feedback on my results.

Its not the hp. Its the G force it pulls on the launch and/or you do a wheelie. I've been 1.41 60ft so far but need to look in to that baffel so I don't starve it for oil. Waiting for cobras results.
