Hey fellow hot rodeos and speed junkies what's up. let me tell ya my story fast man. I have recently acquired a back up 10 bolt. Now this 10 bolt has a Yukon Dura Grip posi unit and a 4.11 ring gear and pinion. However the spider gears are shot. Now I received the whole Diffy for doing a roller swap for a good friend so it cost me nothing. The cost of the spider gear kit is 170 bucks through Yukon. There is a place. In rossville ga. Called Hudlow Axle that will replace the spiders for 300. My question is can anyone that has changed spiders kinda give me an idea of what to expect. The Rep from Yokun said there is not a special tool to compress the springs. The man from Hudlow said you needed one. Has anybody here had dealings with changing spiders on a 10 bolt. I don't want to thrash the stock daffy so I thought I would use this one for the track. for free what the he'll. You know.
