32 Ford 3 Window Coupe w/ Lq4
I am posting up another conversion that I am doing that I thought you guys would like to see. It is a 32 ford 3 window coupe with a 3 inch chop. I am running a full fender kit so it has been a challenge to get everything to fit inside the hood/frame. The body is still being painted. I am running an LQ4 with a 4L60e tranny. Just thought I would see what you think about it so for.

Looks like a fun project. Personally I would have pulled the motor and painted all the parts separately and left several parts unpainted. Natural aluminum would have contrasted nicely against that paint color, instead of everything one solid color. Just my .02

Body was from atlanta hot rods. A lot of bodywork had to go into this car. The fenders, hood, grill, trunk lid, doors, running boards, pretty much all the panels fit like crap. The body was okay. It wouldn't have been so bad if the customer did not want to run the fenders and run a high boy style car. We would have been done weeks ago with the bodywork and paint.

I thought the Deuce was looking good until you posted this. Even if it's the 'bill payer's idea', as a decent builder, you should have highly discouraged mounting the headlamps in that location. It would work on a fenderless highboy such as mine but it's just wrong on a full fendered '32. He will get a lot of strange 'what the hell was he thinking' looks from the knowledgable street rodders that see the car. To each his own though.
