lower steering shaft bearing When I did my longtube install I noticed this white plastic bearing on my steering shaft was broken. I pulled off the retaining clip (then dropped it in the mud) and the cover to get to it. Now that I dropped the retainer in the mud and cannot find it, I have to go to the salvage yard to get a new retainer and lower bearing.
How bad would it be to drive the car without these parts? Just to get to work.
