Question New Valve Spring Break-in Procedure?

Putting a set of PAC 1518s in my stock Z06 (LS6). The springs didn't come with any instructions on how to break them in, but I've heard there is a preferred procedure to "condition" them before really getting on the motor.

I've heard that a couple of start-up and full warm-up cycles at below 1500 RPM should be done after new springs are installed. is this correct, or is there a better method?

I'd recommend a couple heat cycles, and if you used any assembly lube during the install (say on a new camshaft) an oil change after the heat cycles before letting her eat!

For any new springs I would use the heat cycle procedure that Matt talked about. I heat cycle three times, never had a problem with Manley, comp or PAC after doing this.
