rev limiter not right?
So I have an 02 SS with a polluter cam and i told my tuner to set my rev limiter at 6800 until i get some rod bolts and he did. After he finished my tune it would always hit the rev limiter at 6500 so i figured maybe he accidently put it there instead of 6800 but he didnt. He showed me he put my fuel cut off and rev limiter at 6800 and reflashed my tune back into my car to just make sure it was right. Well after that i tried it out again and it still wont go past 6500rpm, so WTF? I want to shift around 6700 or 6600. Could my tach be slow or am i having a mechanical error or detonation at high rpm?

your tach is slow, get a raptor shift light or a small shift light and set it for 64 or 6500.That way you wont have to look at your slow tach and can just watch the road, and you will always know exactly when to shift.Probably the best 90 bucks i ever spent.
