LT1-T56 magnum
So, I'm looking into getting a new tranny for a 383 build. I was really looking forward to a t56 Magnum, but apparently, there is not one for the good ole' LTWan.
Well, now I'm stuck. I'd much rather buy a new one than rebuild the one I have. Its a 96 Camaro.
Any inputs? Anything I may have left out?

Im new around here and only really have the tranny in common with you guys. Im fitting mine into a Volvo and am stuck with the T56 case dimensions and shifter location of the GTO. Im ordering a RSG Magnum, which is a way beefed T56 in a stock case, rated to 850ftlbs and alot of gearing options.

what is wrong with your current t56? They are the same internally as ls1 t56 and you can have any forum vendor on here rebuild yours to handle the power you are making. You'll spend about 1500 if you go with Tick and do their stage 2. http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...camaro-firebird/

Check out our LT1/LS1 T56 Rebuild packages here: http://www.tickperformance.com/1993-...camaro-trans-am/
We offer plenty based on the amount of power you plan on making, and even offer a core sourcing service if needed.
