I think the 200r4 transmission crossmember should work just fine. A th200r4 is 27" from the bellhousing to the mount and a th400 is 26 and 15/16" .

i bought my gn with a th400 in it and it seems that the previous owner rigged up a 200r4 mount to work with the th400 and now with the ls and brp engine mounts only one bolt hold lines up.

im also wondering if an ultrabell would make a difference but im pretty sure the trans still holds oem length.

I got the Jegs 700R4 Double Hump one in my MCSS holding up a T56 with no modification to the Crossmember..anything is possible, there is a pretty good amount of room under these cars.

If nothing else the side mounts could be cut and rewelded to fit perfect.

If you are talking the rubber trans mount then it is different. Just go pick up a energy suspension polygraphite one if your looking for a performance one (Its slotted so it fits all the GM transes) or if your looking for a stocker, pick up a transmission mount for a 1978 buick electra 225 with the 5.7l. That had a th400 and the mount was the same height as a g-body mount.
