Spec'ing a cam for my application
Hi guys, im sure you get this all the time!
I've a LS2 from a GTO in my 200sx (240sx) which is being used in the british drift championship next year, come to the point where i need to spec a cam, which i could use some help with.
Along with push rods/valve springs ect.. i was looking at comp cams as they seem the most reputable. Question is what one?
Not bothered on idle charaistics as it wont be under 4,000rpm most of the time. I want to make the most bhp/torque as possible on standard internals with a RPM limit of 7,000. Any help or pointers would be more than greatful.
Many thanks,

if you want to spec a cam contact Pat G
For $20 he will ask you everything about your car, your goals, needs etc and spec you out a cam based on those things. Pat's advice is worth double its weight in gold and silver.
Heres pats website:
http://www.guerragroup.com/camshaft_help.htm
OR if that link is removed Engine Power Systems has pat's cam spec sheet on their site as well and you can order the cam from them also.

^^^^ I'm with him!!^^^^
All I did was call comp cams for free and i gave an Ls rep the specs of all of my components like the kind of heads intake and details of my motor and what my goals were. He spec'd me out a cam for free and I ordered it. No need for a middle man.
