Default misfire?

hey guys, i got an 04gto, i just cammed, 224r .600 lift. she drove great for the past 2 days and all of a sudden i take a 3 hour cruise and im misfiring like crazy. cyl 3 plug wire seemed like it popped off way to easy when i pulled on it unlike all the others so i plugged it back in and still missing. any ideas? maybe a common issue? i also have msd ign. coils. and the only code i have is p0300 - random misfire....

Check all eight of your coil pack connectors plus the two main feed connectors going to each side, then check the plugs and wires.

Random or multiple misfires are usually blamed on cam to crank timing sync issues. On camshaft installs depending on how aggressive the cam, a p0300 is picked up due to the extended duration. That is why most people delete that code, however in your case of it missing like crazy all of a sudden is not normal. My question is did you pull the motor when you did the cam install or did you do it in the car? I see it all the time, even on header installs, where the harness of the crank positioning sensor has been torn, pinched or pulled. I would check that out before pulling out your hair on what else it could be. Hope you figure it out bud.

I've checked plugs wires coils wireing to coils I've done compression test on cylinder ive looked for intake leakage...... I'm stumped I think my last option is a bad valve or spring I'm wanting to do head and cam work but want to make sure its up to par b4 I buy things and need to buy others any ideas

Mine turned out to be cyl.3 coil. I still get p0300 cause of the cam. The car is not properly tuned either.... I got locked out of my pcmcia some how. It tells me the software is not able to be updated. This is using a diablo pred. Sport. I got a comp cam 224r .600 lift ground by Texas speed.
