Default I want some wide *** rubber!

Looking around for the best fitting wheels for my 05 GTO. I am sure that I want CSLs. I was wondering if someone could vouch for the quality of either one of these wheels and tell me what type of wheels will fit on my car. I know, well, think I know that a negative offset is a lip, but what is up with a positive offset? I want some 18x9.5s in the back and 18x8.5s up front. Will this work?

You should just get these I'd sell them cheaper, but around here you have to start a little high, lol.

Sweet $1!?!?! haha. My buddy wants to trade me a set like that for my stockers but I have my mind set on the CSLs pretty much. How wide of a wheel can you fit on the rear of a GTO. Will 9.5 be too wide? How wide are those?

you are correct. I took the picture myself will trying to use both hands to show the size. I set the camera on a timer delay and ran around to grab the tape measure, after more times then I care to say.... that was my best attempt. lol

Tom's GTO is one of my favs on this site. His car is the reason i went with the borla catback. Car looks like a monster from the rear. Great job with widening the factory 18s too. If they would have made the GTO's that way from the factory they might still be making them.

Yes, for anything bigger than 285-295s you need to cut the tubs.

Or widen the fender flares, but I have yet to see a good one done so far.
