When I was looking at them, WHEN I could find them (Which was rare), they were always 30K+. I would have gone TBSS route if I would have further pursued a performance SUV.

my 'rents have a 5.7 jeep and it has been junk. they have been through tranny mounts, 4wd issues, axle issues and other annoying build quality issues. I hope that the SRT8 version is better.

oh, it also went through a problem where it would stall if driving in a parking lot. For all of the above stated issues the dealerships wouldnt help. they kept claiming that they couldnt replicate the issues.

i have had both a jeep srt8 and a trailblazer ss..... yes performance the jeep is faster in every way.... but the trailblazers are easier to mod, and have more aftermarket... on top of it the trailblazers actually have a decent computer, so you can make alot of power and still have civility on the street....plus the trailblazer ss gets better gas mileage, although still not great

LMFAO thats great.

I think Chrysler's lack of quality still showed up in the Jeep brand, even though its one of their best brands.

A friend of mine and I bought Hemi Durangos during the Daimler phase and aside from minor electric issues (dash, CEL) covered under warranty, they served us well.
