what kind of nitto street tire should i get?
I am going to buy nitto tires for the summer. I live a little south of chicago and the tires will stay on from april to about november 1 depends on when it snows then the snow tires go on. I wasn't sure which to get. My camaro is a DD so it will see rain. I rarely go to the track. Basically just need a good tire for the occasional green light drag, that doesn't wear in 3k miles.

The R does not stand for rain lol.
The normal 555s will be better all around for a street daily tire.
R is a softer compound, stickier, but will wear faster.
I just put on a set of 555s on my car, happy with them, haven't tried to launch or anything though, but what can you expect?

I know what ya mean lol I went from some shitty Cooper Tires that were on when I bought my car to NT05's and it was literally like I bought a new car afterwards.

looks like the nitto 555s it is. I have eagle f1's right now which are great in the rain but have absolutely no traction at all. I spin them when i launch at 2100 and i have a 3600 stall
