car scene is pretty big... last I knew the cops have been cracking down pretty hard though...

there's a car club for just about every make and model of car, and some of the meets can be pretty good.

http://www.racecentex.com/

check it out, lots of the local faster street cars are on there.

I was at hood for a while... car scene is pretty big and ranges from real muscle to some total ****** rice-tards. Belton lake is awesome in the summer...

glad to see you on the other site, yes the local track... its got some perks (cheap) but the prep isn't the best I've ever seen and it's kind of back woodsy.

it isn't that bad to be honest... they changed management and owners i think so it might have gotten better than what it was when i first got to hood.

the best 60' i could manage before i deployed was a 2.2.... but it's cheap like 20 bucks to race all night, they have bracket and grudge races along with other fun things like ford vs chev vs import... and it's fairly close, within about 30 mins anywhere around hood.
