Default engine swap

looking to get a 6.0l engine out of 2007 2500 cargo van. To put in a 97 v6 m5camaro. what parts do i need for the swap? and can use off the van beside engine and wire harness?

Essentially only the longblock and possibly the trans are of any use to your swap. The harness can be made to work with great difficulty, but since stock LS1 harnesses are so common and easy to convert, why not use one of them?

Heads are part of the long block

PCM probably not. Later green/blues are not compatible with DBC TB's

Are all these blocks the same? One person told me the engine is to new, because it has dod and vvt. That I need to find a older engine, 2004 or older. I would hate, to let this engine go with only 39000 miles on it. At least get to use the shortblock.

Do a search and educate yourself on the different types of engines

Blindly buying something is a sure-fire way to get the wool pulled over your eyes
