Default exact symptoms of bad oil pump o-ring?

So what are the exact symptoms of the bad oil pump o-ring trying to just be sure that its not the issue before tearing into a motor. The engine carries tons of cold idle and under power pressure. As the temp comes up the hot idle pressure drops to around 22-24psi on 20w-50. Note this is a built stroker with .0020 clearances. it still carries adequate oil pressure at anything above an idle just low at idle? ideas?

O-ring issues could be anything from pressure dropping under load, no pressure at all, low pressure all around, low pressure at idle. It depends on what is wrong with the o-ring (cut or pinched). If you have not already, I would first install a mechanical gauge to verify accurate readings.
