Default Beat by CTS-V

I ran a CTS-V in Chandler Az. Last night. We both launched great and he pulled on me like I was standing still. I was putting down 450+ RWHP during the run. I figured it was someone on tech. DAMN THAT CTS-V WAS FAST!
I guess getting your *** handed to you once in a while keeps things in perspective.

They put down at least that stock. A pulley swap, injectors, intake and tune can put them near 600hp.

Ok, maybe i meant like 550rwhp... but still if you're rounding to the nearest hundred that's 600. To get to 600 you'd need a ported blower, full exhaust, and a supercooled larger heat exchanger (or meth).

well if it was stock it would've lost to you or very close since thats pretty much what they put to the wheels maybe higher then what you are but your lighter. He definitly had it modded up. Were i live ive seen a few 2 door and 4 but from what i can tell they are fairly stock. Dont blame them really its alot of power for a luxury sedan, if it was me i would have the loudest CTS-V around, lol.

It wasn't me but I have one and have made believers out of so many people. I put on a conservative tune and a smaller pulley, which added almost 100 SAE rwhp and have beaten Z06s, Vipers, GTRs, SS Camaros, and Shelby GT500s, to name a few. At the dragstrip with a 6,000 foot + DA she runs high 11's at almost 120 mph.

Yeah I was definetly impressed the first time I saw one. I already knew what they were but just hadnt seen live action. At a streetrace A while back when the first LSA V came out I met a 19 y.o kid who had just got one for graduation. There was a guy who had a supposed 550whp 04 Cobra talking way too much. Guy had no idea about the V, he thought he was racing an Ls2 or Ls6. Lets say after 3 passes he came back complaining his fuel pump wasnt working. Those things are beasts

very honorable death OP! No shame in losing to a car you would normally beat, though that sounded like it was a brutal loss for you.

Good death bro... I now a few V2 owners around here that put a lot of other cars to shame.. One guy pushes 720+whp in his and its only his DD... I also know the Texas mile record holder for the fastest V2! These cars run 173+mph stock on the mile...
