i know there is a difference between compressed head gasket thickness and uncompressed thickness.... I called up Fedral Mogal to get there compressed thickness on one of there MLS head gaskets, their rep over the phone told me "since its an MLS gasket it wont compress much, if any at all" he followed that up with you can measure it with a dial caliper and that will be "close" to the compressed thickness.... didn't sound like a very educated answer to me but i could be wrong...
do MLS gaskets compress much or was the Fed Mog rep correct?
